President Message
Dear friends and colleagues,
In the center of the city of Yehud-Monoson is located the Memorial Site for the Fallen Soldiers of the IDF Signal Corps. It is managed and operated by the Association for the Commemoration of the Fallen Soldiers of the Signal Corps.
The Association has set its sights on honoring and remembering the sacrifice and dedication of the fallen soldiers and commemorating them, preserving and cherishing the heritage of the Signal Corps, and passing it on to future generations, and maintaining, through the association, a connection with the veterans of the Corps throughout the generations.
In this spirit, the memorial site is operated throughout the year and serves as a hand in the community for the families and friends to remember the commemorated.
There is a technological enrichment center at the site, whose purpose, among other things, is to realize a living commemoration for the commemorated. The place serves as a heritage house for meetings between officers and soldiers of the Signal Corps who serve in the present with veterans of the Corps.
We commemorate our comrades in arms and connect through a living and vibrant memorial site by holding commemorative activities, heritage, technological education, culture and society.
The means are not easily attained, and our desires and needs are not quickly realized. With determination and a push forward, step by step, the vision is being realized.
You are invited, members of the association and its friends, in Israel and abroad, to continue to contribute resources to the advancement of our enterprises.
The Association's website is the gateway to the Association, where we will express and publish the realization of our vision and goals, through which we will maintain contact with our friends, members of bereaved families and with the wounded and disabled of the Corps, and thus we will disseminate knowledge and information about topics and areas that are important to us.
We call on more members to join the association and show personal involvement to expand our activities. May we in the future be able to point out additional activities that promote the achievement of our goals.
And the sound was heard afar off (Ezra 22:13)
